Author Guidelines

Authors are required to follow the guidelines below:

Article Template

  • Authors must use the PRIMA Journal template (DOCX format).
  • General structure of the article:
    • Title
    • Author name(s) & affiliation(s)
    • Abstract & keywords
    • Introduction
    • Method
    • Results and Discussion
    • Conclusion
    • Acknowledgments (optional)
    • References

Writing Requirements

  • Language: Indonesian or English
  • Manuscript length: 6–15 pages
  • Minimum of 15 references, with at least 80% published in the last 10 years
  • Citation format: APA Style
  • Tables and figures must be numbered and captioned
  • Manuscripts must be submitted in DOCX format, not PDF

Originality
By submitting a manuscript, authors declare that:

  • The article has not been published elsewhere
  • The article is not under review in another journal
  • The article is free from plagiarism and data fabrication

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript aligns with the focus and scope of PRIMA Journal.
  • The article is written using the official journal template.
  • The manuscript file is in DOCX format.
  • A plagiarism check has been conducted.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
  • Citations follow APA style.
  • References have been verified for accuracy and completeness.
  • Research ethics requirements have been met (if involving human or animal subjects).
  • Illustrations, tables, and figures are properly placed in the manuscript.

PRIMA Journal: Practice, Research and Innovation in Madrasah is a scientific journal published by MAN 2 Kota Malang. The journal disseminates research results, learning innovations, and scientific development conducted by teachers, educational staff, interns, students, and researchers in the fields of education and applied science.

As a digital madrasah widely known as a national hub for research and as a national benchmark for study, PRIMA Journal exists to strengthen the culture of scientific literacy and provide credible, standardized, and widely accessible academic media. PRIMA journal is published periodically twice a year, on January and July. The journal emphasizes the peer-review process in accordance with scientific publication ethics or the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
